Struggling with weight management can be tough, I know from first-hand experience. Whether you want to lose weight or gain weight, together we will explore the factors that may be contributing to the challenges you are facing.

Nutrition isn’t about strict diets with no enjoyment. Nutrition is about understanding what works for you without unnecessary restrictions. We will work together to understand your eating habits, likes, and dislikes helping you become more in tune with your body.

Healing Your Relationship With Food

Food can often act as a coping mechanism helping us deal with invisible past trauma. This was the biggest factor in my relationship with food. Through counseling, we will explore past events to understand what impact they may be having on your eating habits and weight goals and begin to lift the blockers to your progress.

Understanding You

Understanding you and your unique challenges is my number one priority. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all solution, we will work together to build a flexible approach that works for you and your circumstances . I am here to listen and help, not judge.

No Strict Diets

I do NOT prescribe strict diets, strict diets often make things 10x worse! Instead, we will work together to understand the foods and eating patterns that work for you without leaving you feeling restricted. (You can still eat the foods you enjoy!)

Intuitive Eating

Rather than focusing on diets, this method relies on learning to listen to what your body is asking for; and to trust that it is choosing the foods that are going to benefit you the most. The body knows what it needs, we just need to learn to listen to it!

Counselling Approach

Many of our behaviors and habits stem from past events and trauma, often developing into coping mechanisms (in my case binge-eating). Through counselling we will uncover the roots of these behaviors and release them, providing you the freedom you deserve.
